Emily Lafrinere
Emily Lafrinere is a firm believer that the best way to go anywhere is with a friend by your side. Both professionally and personally, her guiding principles champion an outlook that is unabashedly optimistic and ambitious, while valuing humility and teamwork. Naturally, this extends to the way she leads the Emily Lafrinere Team, a Compass-affiliated team of five real estate broker-salespersons who help their clients “find their place in the world.”
A born-and-raised Jersey girl, Emily and her team work with home buyers and sellers primarily in New Jersey’s Morris, Somerset, Essex, Union, Sussex, Passaic, and Bergen counties. Their partnership with Compass provides marketing and technology support, including a “modern real estate platform” and app. “We can put together a curated home selection for our buyers to view right in the app. It’s both convenient and efficient,” Emily says.
Support and collaboration rank high among Emily’s and her team’s tenets, and they continually strive to anticipate and be attentive to their clients’ every need throughout the process. From first-time home buyers to families looking to upgrade or downsize, they are quick to respond. “Buying or selling something tangible, like a home, changes people’s lives,” Emily shares. “Working with people the way we do, and being a small part of such a big moment in someone’s life is so special.”
With a background in marketing and a collaborative consulting approach, it’s no wonder that she and her team have closed approximately $30 million in sales in the last 12 months, or that Emily’s been awarded the New Jersey Realtors Circle of Excellence Award numerous times. She largely credits these achievements to the support she’s received from her team and network. “Having a good team in place for every step of the real estate process is such an important thing. For example, our title company we use, Evident Title, is so reliable and really simplify the transaction for us! There are so many different steps, twists, and turns along the way from point A to point B,” Emily says. “No one succeeds alone. You have to be someone that others want to work with, which is why it’s so important to surround yourself with people that make the whole process easier.”
Emily is a University of Rhode Island graduate.
