“Struggle means nothing without victory,” are words that Safeport Law’s managing partner, Joy Elizabeth Coleman, Esq., lives by. Founded in June of 2022, the growing practice helps clients faced with financial difficulty get out from underneath the weight of crushing debt. “We fight right alongside people who are oftentimes being taken advantage of by big corporations and treated unfairly,” she states. “For us, it’s about changing lives and protecting individuals and families who are really struggling and in need of protection from aggressive creditors.” Focused on credit repair and debt settlement, Safeport Law is committed to exemplifying the highest level of customer service. “We understand the process can be stressful, so we make a point to treat every client call as if they were a member of our own family,” she explains. With over 15 years of experience in consumer advocacy, the practice is home to a network of attorneys in 44 states across the country.

Dedicated to helping clients challenge credit report inaccuracies, the BBB-accredited business even offers a 90-day money-back guarantee on their service offerings. “We don’t promise results, but we want every client to be happy with their experience working with us, and we strive to make the process as simple as possible,” she states. Passionate about helping others, Joy’s lifelong dedication to consumer advocacy is evident in her work. “Safeport Law is my greatest professional accomplishment, and it’s something I live and breathe every day because I feel like my whole career has really been headed in this direction. Being able to change the lives of our clients from coast to coast with our national network is really what I enjoy most,” she explains.

As a busy mother of six, Joy not only understands the economic pressure her clients are faced with, but is also able to personally identify with the struggles many are going through. “The consequences of financial devastation are far-reaching, so helping families navigate difficult situations is really what drives me each and every day,” she says.

Joy holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from The Florida State University and a law degree from Capital University Law School. She’s been a member of the Georgia Bar since 2007.
