With a dedicated focus on driving exponential growth through sales leadership, Kyle Akers helps customers run their business from an operational efficiency and profitability standpoint. As a Certified Payments Professional and as a leader, he sees himself as a player-coach, and his hands-on approach to driving the activities necessary to produce results has become one of Kyle’s trademarks. Over the course of his career, he’s amassed a handful of accolades including the American Express Ambassadors Club Award, and being named Regional Vice President of the Year, coupled with making the Presidents Club year-after-year.  He’s the recipient of the Worldpay Circle of Excellence Award for leading his team to exceed 115% of their annual goal three years in a row and has also been recognized as an Outstanding Leader with a Zeal to Win. In his current role as a member of the senior sales leadership team at Talus Pay, Kyle builds and manages relationships with complex institutions across North America. The Dallas-based business offers payment processing solutions for growing and established companies alike. Where the organization provides custom strategic solutions, Kyle helps identify opportunities and more cost-effective ways to impact the bottom line and drive profitability.

With responsibilities that include managing the company’s sales and client partner teams, and driving sales growth tied to product solutions, he uses data and analytical tools to influence decision-making practices. Prior to joining Talus, Kyle’s career in the industry spanned roles with a triad of leading payment technology companies that include CardX, Worldpay Inc., and American Express. Now, he’s able to leverage the knowledge he’s gleaned to transform analytical data into real results for the clients he serves. “If there’s a negative trend, I can help turn it into a positive,” he states. “Similarly, if there’s a positive trend, I’m able to help keep it on the right path.” Kyle’s aptitude for nurturing his own team is a testament to his success in cultivating exponential growth. As a sales leader, he has helped lead a team of former rookies to president’s club eligibility, which he considers one of his greatest professional accomplishments. “Helping others succeed and grow their career is what I enjoy most,” he states.
