Nicholas Amartey, PMP® PBA®

Nicholas Amartey, PMP® PBA®, is a serial entrepreneur and business strategist with over a decade of experience supporting SMEs growth, international trade, and economic advancement in emerging markets. He currently serves as director of business development and founder of BENA & Partners, a consulting firm based in Accra, Ghana, established in 2024. The company delivers business advisory services, export facilitation, investment support, and ESG compliance across sectors including agriculture, health, education, and technology.

Nicholas owns two agribusinesses and has played a key role in shaping the agricultural landscape across West Africa. He has facilitated more than $60 million in export deals and supported over 650 agribusiness in accessing global markets. His efforts have included mentoring 120 startups and advising more than 2,500 businesses on sustainability and growth strategies.

Earlier in his career, Nicholas served as a partner and program director at Agripreneurs Africa, managing startup incubation and training initiatives. He currently consults as a national marking expert with GOPA AFC GmbH (GIZ), where he focuses on global market development and tradeshow representation.

​

Nicholas holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP®) and PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA®). He is currently pursuing graduate studies focused on digital transformation, ESG, climate resilience, and sustainable development, with an emphasis on trade, governance, and global health. His work continues to shape agribusiness systems and support economic advancement in emerging markets.
