His skills caught the attention of CIBC, where he embarked on a mission to revolutionize on-line banking practices. As the winds of change blew, Nim's attention turned to the health care industry, where he assumed a role as transformation director. Here, he led a digital transformation of the company globally, leveraging his expertise in collaboration, security, and enterprise system implementation; implementing advancements to improve the bedside patient care experience significantly.
In his relentless pursuit of excellence, Nim has always been a serial entrepreneur. Having successful exits in his career has enabled him to focus on helping advise and scale startups strategically. Most recently, Nim’s last exist earned its recognition as one of the Top 50 Best Managed IT Companies in Canada for five consecutive years and secured a Microsoft Impact Award.
Driven by his passion for building and scaling companies, Nim joined forces with his wife, Sangeeta Ramtahal, to establish CriticalMatrix and MatrixVentures. CriticalMatrix focuses on implementing top-notch security measures related to cyber, identity, data, and governance for organizations while MatrixVentures aims to accelerate investments in Canadian tech firms, bolstering their growth and financial prospects as a leading private equity investment fund.
Notably, Nim's educational background has been a contributing factor to his success. Armed with an MBA in IT risk and project management, as well as expertise as a Six Sigma Green Belt, his understanding of business dynamics and risk mitigation sets him apart from the rest. Beyond the realm of business, Nim is actively involved in the community, serving on the board of Headwaters Health Center in Ontario and Resonaite AI, while being an executive director of the Cybersecurity Global Alliance.
