In 2018, Pascal Hemond co-founded CS Proz Inc. to address a critical challenge faced by modern businesses: maintaining high-quality customer service without overburdening internal resources. Today, CS Proz serves businesses across Canada, the U.S., and the UK, offering reliable services in areas such as social media management, customer service, data entry and back-office operations.

 

With headquarters based in Canada and a fully operational facility in the Philippines—built from the ground up under Pascal’s leadership—CS Proz provides scalable, cost-effective solutions to businesses of all sizes. From hiring top talent and forming departments, to mentoring managers and overseeing budgets, Pascal’s hands-on leadership style has been key to the company’s success. He leads with dedication, loyalty, and a deep commitment to his team.

 

Pascal is quick to acknowledge the foundational support of the majority owners, partners and mentors, M. Frank Saltarelli, M. Jonathan Haber, and M. With a bachelor’s degree and deep expertise in customer service, team dynamics, and management strategy, Pascal’s passion for excellence extends beyond the office. As a lifelong athlete, high level hockey player, highly certified hockey coach, and holder of a 3rd Dan Black Belt in Kyokushin Karate, he’s part of the IFK organization—bringing discipline, perseverance, and precision to everything he does.

Q&A with Pascal

 

CS Proz has become tremendously successful. Yet, you give the credit to your team and the owners who believed in you. Can you share your thoughts on this?

 

CS Proz is part of a Canadian corporation where I worked. I brought the idea forward to the owners, and thanks to their trust and support, I was able to bring it to life. But I didn’t do it alone. The success of CS Proz is the result of a dedicated team that deserves all the credit. I suggest and provide direction, but it’s our team’s hard work and passion that truly drive us forward.

 

What sparked the idea for CS Proz, and what drove you to turn it into a full-scale company?

 

The idea started internally. When I joined the corporation 11 years ago, we were outsourcing customer service, but it was challenging to find the quality, talent, and commitment we needed to truly serve our customers. I believed we could do better by building our own team. We hired top talent, trained them, created real synergy, and took full control of the customer experience. The result? Happier customers and stronger relationships and mostly happy dedicated employees. Seeing that success, I thought, why not offer this solution to other founders and small businesses? I pitched the idea to the corporation’s owners, and with their trust and support, CS Proz was born. However, I didn’t want to stop at customer service. I envisioned a full-service business center, one that also offers back-office support, social media management, data entry, accounting and more. Founders are great at building products and selling, but as sales grow, so does the pressure to manage customer support. At some point, either service suffers, or growth slows. That’s where we come in. We take care of the customer service side so founders can keep growing their business with confidence, knowing their customers are in the hands of a skilled, professional, and passionate team.

What sets CS Proz apart from similar service providers?

 

We specialize in supporting small and medium-sized businesses, sole owners, and especially fast- growing online brands. These businesses often experience rapid growth and suddenly find themselves juggling customer service, billing, messages, and social media, all while trying to scale. That’s where we come in.

 

What makes us unique is that we grow with our clients. One great example is a Canadian chocolate company we partnered with. We handle their social media and data order entry, and now they’ve grown into a mid-sized business. Their latest product is dominating the market, and they’re on track to become a major player within five years. From startups to scaling businesses, we provide the critical support needed to maintain momentum and drive sustainable growth.

 

Social media support has become one of your most requested services. What exactly do you offer, and what makes your approach so effective?

 

We manage both the front and back ends of social media. Our services include content management, real-time engagement, comment monitoring, and in-depth data analysis. Engagement is key. Most businesses can handle 50 comments a week—but what happens when that number jumps to 1,000 or 400,000 followers, like one of our clients? You need a system and a skilled team to scale.

We also help clients identify the right platforms for their audience. Each platform has its own demographic, tone, and culture. What works for one may not work for the other. We guide clients toward the platforms that align best with their target market and help them speak the right “language” for that audience.

Our GOAL is to simplify the process and provide clients with clarity—where they stand now, and what they need to do to reach their goals.
