With little knowledge of international equity trading or settlement, Paul Karrlsson-Willis did what three predecessors had failed to do. In only three months, he built a global trading and settlement product for Fidelity in the United Kingdom that generated $10 million in just its third year on the map. He also put into place the ability for all Fidelity clients in the United States to trade directly into foreign markets. Then, he switched gears. After spending years in the financial services industry building various global businesses, the Boston Celtics’ Heroes Among Us honoree took the helm as CEO of JUSTLY Markets LLC, an Ideanomics Company. With the goal of making a difference in the world, the 39-year industry veteran joined Ideanomics in 2021 to develop JUSTLY as an impact broker dealer regulated by FINRA and the SEC. “The opportunity to transform and legitimize impact investment in a transparent and data-driven way, plus build a strong team that is passionate about this mission,” Paul explains, “was a dream come true.”

Focused on how today’s investments shape the future of our planet, JUSTLY specializes in investment banking and crowd funding services in the private equity space. The company curates vetted investment opportunities with strong growth potential, and it’s already serving nearly three dozen companies, with access to 25,000 institutional investors and approximately 40,000 retail investors. However, JUSTLY is about more than just raising capital. It’s about creating lasting relationships between companies and passionate supporters. Its community is aligned in the common mission of building strong businesses while putting the well-being of people and the environment at the forefront. With 10% of its net revenue donated to non-profits in the impact space, JUSTLY thinks beyond profits and dividends. The company connects engaged investors with motivated founders who care about social and environmental responsibility. As JUSTLY’s CEO, Paul remains steadfast in his focus to enable everyone in his ecosystem to be successful and meet their maximum potential.  As he says, “It’s amazing to be in a position where I’m able to use all of my professional experience to make an impact and live my passion every day”.
