Paul was inspired to start his own company due to a personal challenge. In 2020, while working at a mid-size firm, his five-year-old daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Facing the reality of limited time off during tax season, Paul chose to prioritize his family over his career. He left the firm and started Singh Services CPA PC with a modest client base of 75-100 clients. During the COVID pandemic, he transitioned the company to full-time operations, creating a flexible system allowing employees to work from home if desired. In doing so, Paul established a culture that promotes work-life balance, with no set schedules and the ability for staff to come and go as needed. This approach makes Singh Services unique, as it is one of the few CPA firms in the area where even administrative staff can work remotely.
