His latest venture, miSafety, is rooted in a deeply personal mission. As a father, Venkat was moved by the increasing frequency of school safety incidents and the growing mental health crisis among students. Stories of bullying, emotional isolation, and the tragic consequences of unaddressed struggles inspired him to create a platform that listens, responds, and empowers.

 

miSafety is a student-centered safety and wellness app that uses AI and behavioral insights to build safer, more connected school environments. Students can anonymously report bullying, harassment, or emotional concerns while earning reward points for positive actions. A mental health chatbot offers a confidential space for students to express themselves, and real-time alerts are sent to parents and school administrators, enabling early, informed intervention.

 

Unlike traditional tools, miSafety focuses on prevention, communication, and proactive care. Administrators gain actionable insights to detect trends, while students are encouraged to speak up without fear. Under Venkat’s leadership, the platform is helping to reshape how schools approach safety—prioritizing emotional well-being and creating environments where students feel seen, supported, and secure.
