Yizhar’s journey began far from boardrooms and balance sheets. After serving in the Israeli Army, he devoted a decade to saving lives as a paramedic at Magen David Adom, Israel’s national emergency medical service. Rising to the rank of chief of paramedics, Yizhar mastered the art of staying composed under pressure, making swift, informed decisions, and understanding the human element in every crisis. Reflecting on this experience, he notes, “My time as a paramedic made me look at life differently. It prepared me to handle crises in business with clarity and confidence.”

Fueled by a desire to enter the financial world, Yizhar pursued an MBA and earned his CPA license while balancing the high stress demands of emergency medicine. This ambition paid off, leading to a successful career as a CPA in Israel and later as the CFO of a public company in New York. In each of these roles, Yizhar demonstrated his expertise in developing sophisticated financial models to accurately forecast cash flows and guide strategic decision-making. Further, he executes comprehensive tax and auditing functions with precision, ensuring strict compliance and financial integrity. This blend of financial acumen and strategic insight culminated in his most recent position, where he was entrusted with leading a prominent steel company following its acquisition last June.

Under Yizhar’s astute direction, companies not only grow in revenue, but also expand their global reach.
