Youssef Hariri
Youssef Hariri is a Canadian lawyer and mediator with a background in politics and public relations. Equipped with faith, a vast network, and ever-growing experience, he launched his own law firm years ago at the age of 25 and built an enviable roster of clients by helping organizations and entrepreneurs, whether in the launch of businesses or with legal and contractual needs and negotiations as well as supporting them with their communication and public relations strategies.
As a lawyer, Youssef often collaborates with other professionals and has settled various cases in which multinationals represented by Canadian and American lawyers were involved. He has been instrumental in the firm’s growth, continually bringing on permanent clients, working for them and on issues mainly in Canada, but also USA, Europe, the Gulf Region, and Africa. Youssef was also behind the founding of a legal portal at the age of 19, which brought hundreds of attendees at its launch, among them the Ministers of Justice of Canada and Quebec and the Quebec Bar’s president. At the age of 21, he was approached to be a political advisor at the federal level and worked part-time in that field while studying law. Some years after the beginning of his law practice, he returned to politics at the municipal level, again advising politicians and working on the mobilization of leaders as well as helping in putting in place measures that promote the well-being of people.
Today, Youssef is a corporate lawyer and the founder of Harilex Law Firm in downtown Montreal. The practice is focused on business, immigration law, and international mobility. Youssef manages the company’s largest cases, as well as its business development. Focused on emotional intelligence, he likes to deal with people directly and puts his experience at the service of others by sharing his knowledge as a keynote speaker, cohosting events, publishing articles, and by helping non-profit organizations. Underlying it all are Youssef’s core priorities: Faith in God and family.
Youssef holds a certificate in negotiation and leadership from Harvard Law School. He is the author of numerous business law articles published by “Thomson Reuters-Les Éditions Yvon Blais” in a major legal resource. He is also recipient of the world prestigious “40 under 40” business elite award.
