These attributes would later serve him well in his dual careers. With a university level education in business management and specialized training from the Audio Description Institute, Angelo is a man of many talents, ready to tackle any challenge that comes his way.

Angelo, what motivated you to establish Miller Executive Management and Miller Time Voice Over?

In 2018, my life changed dramatically when I suffered a stroke, which challenged everything I knew. Suddenly, walking was difficult, driving was impossible, and I lost my ability to sing and speak publicly, activities that had once brought me immense joy. I could no longer fulfill my responsibilities as a city investigator for Los Angeles. Faced with adversity, I realized I had no choice but to push forward. As I lay in the hospital bed, grappling with my new reality, bills were piling up, and the mortgage still needed to be paid. After a long prayer to Jehovah, I reflected on my skills, experiences, and innate abilities. I realized I had a knack for managing people, businesses, and properties, which inspired me to found Miller Executive Management.

 

My journey into the voice-over industry was driven by a lifelong fascination with my voice. As a child, I had a high-pitched voice, that I believed sounded similar to that of Michael Jackson, but when I turned 13, my voice dropped to a much deeper register, overnight. I was terrified.  One day I was Michael and the next I was Barry White. A few years later, I took voice acting courses in Hollywood and my family and friends often remarked on the distinctiveness of my voice. So, in essence, Miller Time Voice Over was born out of resilience, rediscovery, and a deep love for the art of voice.

What distinguishes you and your companies from others in the industry?

I have come to realize that every job I've ever had—each role, each challenge, and each success—has prepared me for my career. From managing people and properties to navigating the complexities of law enforcement, every experience has contributed to the variety of skills I bring to my work today. My role as a voice actor is centered on the idea that our voice is an instrument. Voice acting is an art that involves storytelling. That’s my strength. My work goes beyond mere narration; it's about bringing stories to life, connecting with audiences on an emotional level, and delivering performances that resonate.

This diverse skill set also informs my approach at Miller Executive Management. Managing properties requires a blend of organizational prowess and interpersonal skills, honed over years of managing teams and handling complex scenarios in law enforcement. My unique combination of talents allows me to approach each challenge creatively and effectively, ensuring exceptional service and lasting relationships with clients and tenants. This holistic approach and adaptability make my companies stand out in the crowded landscapes of voiceover and property management.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

The artistry of it. I'm deeply passionate about all forms of art—musical, visual, lyrical, and the spoken word. This passion drives everything I do and is encapsulated in my business motto: "Make each day your masterpiece." I strive to view each day as an opportunity to create something beautiful and meaningful.
