Balaji enjoys training other data scientists and believes in sharing knowledge to magnify innovation results. He is also an acknowledged thought leader in the AI/ML community, with his book "Data Science Using Pyspark" set for publication in 2024. Balaji contributes to R&D in data science and Generative AI, serves as an editorial board advisor, conference speaker, and judge for data science competitions, and is a member of the 3AI Thought Leaders Circle and the AIM Executive Leadership Council. Balaji is also a recent recipient of the prestigious AI100 Award, bestowed to top leaders in data science. He envisions continuing to foster innovation and excellence in AI and ML, pushing society to a higher, more equitable level.
