As the owner of both Wayfinder and HIVE 309, Brian Plath brings a rare blend of entrepreneurial insight and leadership expertise to the table. With over 30 years of experience in sales and leadership—including a successful stint in IT consulting—Brian understands the real-world challenges that business owners and professionals face. His mission? To help individuals and organizations navigate their way to sustainable success.
Wayfinder, his consulting firm, is rooted in Brian’s belief that cookie-cutter sales training and leadership coaching fall flat. “We’re all behavioral,” he says. “Mindset, habits, and sales DNA matter—but too many coaches ignore that.” In response, Brian created the Wayfinder Methodology, a hands-on, tailored approach built around four pillars: orientation, route determination, course correction, and success. Over the course of four to six months, he works closely with clients to uncover obstacles, recalibrate strategies, and accelerate progress toward defined goals.
Beyond coaching, Brian designs immersive, purpose-built retreats that go far beyond traditional workshops. These experiences are crafted to tackle the core challenges that keep organizations stuck—transforming ‘check-the-box’ sessions into moments of true breakthrough.
Complementing Wayfinder is HIVE 309, a collaborative co-working space dedicated to supporting local businesses. It’s all part of Brian’s larger vision: aligning his ventures in a way that fosters community, nurtures growth, and makes a lasting impact.
