Chris Collum, president and founder of 1303 Systems, isn’t just fluent in tech—he’s fluent in people. With over 18 years of expertise in designing technical infrastructure and media production workflows, he launched his Saint Louis–based company in 2010 to do what no one else could: bridge the gap between creatives and corporate IT. Backed by a B.A. in audio production and certifications including CCNA, VCP, and ACSA, Chris speaks the language of both logic and imagination, building custom systems that make sense to both sides of the table.

In 2010, Chris launched 1303 Systems with a mission to empower creatives through smart, streamlined technology. The company specializes in consulting, custom storage solutions, workflow automation, and orchestration. Whether working with small production teams or large-scale broadcasters, Chris and his team build systems that match the unique size and scope of each operation. Clients like the University of Mississippi, the University of Alabama, and Brutonx Stroube Studios trust 1303 Systems to keep their creative engines running smoothly.
