Jared Alvarado

Jared Alvarado exemplifies the American Dream. It was just 10 years ago that he came to the U.S. from Latin America, bringing with him a background of IT engineering and MEP engineering, from planification to execution, and design modeling. He fused these elements together to create a powerhouse combination of values that ensure his companies provide legendary customer service while also getting the job done better and faster than his competitors.

Today, Jared is the owner of K&K Corporation, the parent company for K&K Electric; K&K Brick and Stone; and K&K Iron Welders. With locations in Gaithersburg, Baltimore; Cherry Hill, Maryland; and New Jersey, K&K Electric is a full-service MEP (mechanical, engineering, plumbing) contractor, serving both residential and commercial construction applications, including engineering design drawings using BIM software such as Revit AutoCAD and Revizto. They also offer a full line of post-construction and repair services. Jared’s second company, K&K Brick and Stone, is a hardscaping and pool company, which recently added a steel welding division. Here too, he provides his customers with 3D renderings and models using software such as AutoCAD and Cinema 4D. His third company is capable of doing prefabrication welding with galvanized stainless steel, bronze, aluminum, and erection steel. The company’s services are backed by Jared’s impressive list of qualifications, the most notable of which are his three trade master licenses (electrician, plumber, and HVAC), and both OSHA-10 and OSHA-30 certifications.

A true leader in his field, Jared believes that “anything is possible” and embraces the proactive mindset of doing what it takes to achieve one’s goals.
