Jeff Del Rosso has spent the past 25 years building a career defined by operational excellence, strategic leadership, and an unwavering commitment to developing high-performing teams. As Division Vice President for Hertz Corporation, he oversees a $2.1 billion segment of the organization spanning the eastern airport division, with responsibility for more than 5,000 employees across the Hertz, Dollar, and Thrifty brands. Throughout his career, Jeff has consistently demonstrated the ability to lead complex organizations through periods of transformation while delivering measurable business results, making him a respected executive known for balancing disciplined execution with people-focused leadership.

 

A naturally competitive leader with a calm and steady demeanor, Jeff believes sustained success comes from providing clear direction, removing obstacles, and equipping teams with the tools they need to excel. His leadership philosophy has been shaped by decades of navigating organizational change, maintaining focus on long-term objectives, and fostering a culture where accountability, communication, and collaboration drive performance. Driving Operational Transformation

 

Jeff specializes in leading large-scale operations with a focus on improving profitability through process optimization, operational efficiency, and disciplined execution. His expertise includes full P&L leadership, organizational transformation, revenue growth initiatives, leadership development, and operational strategy. Throughout his career, he has consistently identified opportunities to streamline operations while maintaining a strong focus on customer experience and financial performance.

 

Among his most notable accomplishments was building Hertz's cargo van business into a $350 million operation by developing and executing its go-to-market strategy. That achievement earned him the company's prestigious 2019 CEO Award, presented to just two leaders company-wide. He also led the development of Hertz's operations leadership training program, which continues to serve as the organization's company-wide standard for leadership development. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, Jeff spearheaded the transformation of Hertz's maintenance organization, redesigning processes and maximizing limited staffing and technology resources to significantly reduce the number of out-of-service vehicles while improving operational performance.

Jeff believes exceptional leadership begins with establishing a clear strategic vision and communicating priorities that unite an organization around common goals. Equally important, he emphasizes building strong teams through thoughtful recruitment, structured onboarding, continuous training, and ongoing leadership development. He measures success not only by business outcomes, but by watching individuals he has mentored grow into senior leadership positions throughout their careers.

 

His passion for coaching extends beyond the workplace. A former standout lacrosse player at Wesleyan University, a nationally ranked Division III team and he earned the Unsung Hero Award his Senior Year, Jeff now coaches the VLC youth lacrosse program. He views athletics as another opportunity to teach teamwork, discipline, resilience, and leadership, qualities that have defined both his professional journey and personal life.

 

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University and an MBA from Auburn University. He is also a Wharton Leadership Program graduate and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified, combining continuous learning with decades of executive experience to lead organizations toward lasting success.
