Michael Heuer

Michael Heuer, the managing partner of Heuer Investments, holds primary responsibilities for leading the company, evaluating investments, and devising strategies to maximize returns. Based in Dallas, Texas, the family office is focused on private equity, venture capital, and real estate. With a keen eye for early-stage tech startups, small businesses, and commercial and residential real estate, Heuer Investments is at the forefront of investment opportunities.

 

Michael's expertise lies in entrepreneurship, innovation, finance, and mentoring. Beyond providing financial investments, Heuer offers comprehensive support services, including accounting, finance, and operations. The company plays an integral role in developing the leadership teams of their portfolio companies, assisting them in overcoming financial and operational challenges. Michael has also served as CFO and has held positions on multiple boards of directors. Currently, he is involved with over 12 companies in various capacities, including mentoring, board membership, and advisory roles.

 

Throughout his career, Michael has embarked on remarkable entrepreneurial ventures. Notably, he was at the forefront of the investor group in the development of a unique resort near a national park during the global COVID-19 pandemic. His understanding of the significance of timing, in addition to the age-old adage of "location, location, location," has propelled his endeavors to new heights. Prior to his role at Heuer Investments, Michael served as the president and CEO of Paragon Sales, one of the largest distribution companies for indoor and outdoor appliances. During his tenure, he served on the board of directors, contributing to its strategic direction and growth. In recognition of his outstanding sales and profit performance, Michael was featured on the cover of House and Home Magazine; received the Sherwin Williams Emerald, Excellence in Management, Distributor of the Year, and Fastest Growing Sales awards from Big Green Egg; as well as Fastest Growing Distributor and Distributor of Excellence awards from Zephyr Ventilation.

 

Beyond his professional achievements, Michael has made contributions to his community. He has served as a missionary and area supervisor for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, as well as president of the Young Men's Organization. For the past nine years, he has been assigned as an independent church financial auditor, overseeing 11 units and providing training to auditors.

 

Michael's holds a bachelor's degree in business and marketing from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University.
