Caroline Spivak

With over two decades of experience in public relations, Caroline Spivak has built a name for herself as someone who makes order out of chaos. Focused on crisis and issue management, she founded Profile Communications Corp. in 2008. Known for their rapid response and reputation management, the company serves clients around the globe. “It’s usually on a Friday afternoon of a long weekend when the phone rings and it’s a client with an emerging crisis,” she explains. “At this point, it’s really critical to break down each aspect of the organization, understand who’s affected and how, and how we can best work together to minimize the reputational damage.” Named the 2019 B2B Communications Agency of the Year — Canada by Business Worldwide Magazine, Profile Communications is also the recipient of the 2020 Corporate LiveWire Innovation & Excellence in Crisis Communications Award and the 2022 Gamechangers™ Global Award.

 

A commitment to high touch customized service, strategic solutions, and successful resolutions are what Caroline and her skilled team strive for and consistently deliver. They remain steadfast in their dedication to helping others. This devotion to good works extends beyond the confines of the company, as Caroline also uses her experiences as a successful woman in business to support other women. In 2015, she founded the Croatian Women’s Network™, which is a nod to her own heritage. The first global network of its kind, the organization has over 600 members located around the world—from women who have been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize and those who launch leading-edge innovations to prisoners of war who have survived and thrived. Every year, the Croatian Women’s Network™ hosts an international conference entitled “Advancing Women. Advancing Economies. Realize the Potential!” in Croatia. CWN also confers the Croatian Women of Influence Award and a Future Leaders Award. With over 140 Croatian Women of Influence Award recipients, the organization is making an empowering impact in highlighting and recognizing female success. “When women work, communities prosper,” she explains. “The idea is to support this and to really connect, celebrate, and champion successful Croatian women the world over.”

 

Caroline holds a specialized honors degree in political science and international affairs from York University, and a post-graduate diploma in public relations management from Ryerson Polytechnic  University. She’s also completed the Directors Education Program at Rotman, University of Toronto.
