With a 34-year journey bridging education and enterprise, Chris Venter, founder of venter.solutions, has cultivated a rare blend of deep technical expertise and business acumen. Launching his career as a mathematics and computer science teacher, Chris found himself on the frontlines of the digital revolution in education. That early exposure led to a shift into IT consulting and management, ultimately paving the way to a VP of IT role at a $10B company, responsible for all global applications.

Today, Chris leads venter.solutions, an innovative firm he launched in 2024 to help businesses optimize their IFS ERP software. His focus is razor-sharp: working directly with clients to solve complex challenges and extract maximum value from their systems. “There are no problems that can't be solved,” he often says—a motto he brings to every client engagement.

Chris holds a mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University. As his career evolved, so did his credentials: Oracle Certified Professional, ITIL, and Project Management Professional. Each new challenge has been met with education and mastery.

 

Chris’ passion for purpose extends beyond the office. A committed advocate for corporate social responsibility, he and his family actively support Possibilities International, a charity building homes worldwide. From Guatemala to Ukraine, Chris and his children have all contributed their time and hearts to the cause. When he’s not solving business problems or changing lives abroad, Chris can be found on the football field, refereeing everything from youth games to college matchups.
