Joshua Bradley’s journey to becoming founder and COO of BradWay Construction and Restoration, LLC is a story of grit, resilience, and conviction. From stepping onto a job site at just 12 years old to leading one of the fastest-growing construction and restoration firms in the region, his career has been defined by both relentless drive and a refusal to accept “average.”

Raised in a single-parent household, Joshua learned early the value of hard work and personal responsibility. His first boss urged him to pursue education so he wouldn’t have to rely on construction labor, but those early years on job sites shaped his character. “I’ve always had a ridiculous drive to be different and to change the status quo,” he reflects. Guided by his Christian faith, Joshua resolved to do everything with twice the effort and integrity of the next person.

After nearly a decade in construction, Joshua expanded his horizons, spending more than 15 years in research, development, sales, and corporate leadership across the energy and utilities industries. He served in pivotal roles at Louisville Gas and Electric Company, Water Heating Technologies, Bluegrass Hydronics and Pump, and Woodstone Energy. Each position added a layer of expertise—engineering, compliance, business development, and leadership—that would later become the foundation for BradWay.

In 2022, Joshua, along with his partner, Jesse Calloway, launched BradWay Construction and Restoration, built on a radical principle for the industry: complete honesty and transparency. Having seen too many contractors and insurance companies cut corners and deceive clients, Joshua was determined to do the opposite. BradWay opens its books to customers, exposes estimates, and commits to doing the right thing—even when it comes at a cost. That commitment was tested early, when a general contractor’s bankruptcy left BradWay with a $212,000 loss. With only a ¾ million dollars or $750K in annual revenue at the time, the hit could have been fatal. Joshua sold his house, cashed in his 401(k), and stayed with affected clients for months to ensure they were cared for.

That sacrifice nearly sank the young company, but integrity prevailed. In just two years, BradWay grew from under $1 million in revenue to an expected $4.2 million this year, the $6.5 will be from May of this year to May of next year proving Joshua’s belief that “doing the right thing pays in the end.”

Today, BradWay is known for custom builds, remodels, insurance restoration, and structural repair—combining engineering precision with craftsmanship. Projects range from luxury mountain retreats to expansive custom spaces, each meeting or exceeding code compliance standards. With commercial and government contracts on the horizon, Joshua sees his journey as part of something greater.

“Looking back now, I can see how every position I held prepared me for this moment,” he reflects. “It’s like God put me on that first job site as a kid for a reason. I thought I was just working for a paycheck, but really, He was laying the foundation for BradWay and the mission we have today. This company is more than business—it’s God’s plan in motion, and I just have the privilege of building it.”
