Joshua Sodaitis
Leadership, Fatherhood, and the Future of Digital Identity
Joshua Sodaitis’ path blends invention, entrepreneurship, and an instinct for seeing opportunity long before others do. Over two decades in finance and technology, he has launched companies, raised capital, guided shareholder strategy, and, most notably, invented the patented technology that became MobiCard™, the very first digital business card app to hit the app stores. His two U.S. utility patents, #10270880 (granted in 2019) and #10616368, Electronic Interactive Business Card Mobile Software System with Customer Relationship Management Database (granted in 2020), laid the foundation for a new era of digital identity.
Today, as CEO of Peer To Peer Network (OTC: PTOP), the first and only publicly traded digital business card company, Joshua continues to push the industry forward. When he joined the PTOP board, the stock was at $0.0001; by late 2025, it had climbed to $0.09, a reflection of his expertise in finance, stock structure, capital formation, and investor relations.
Peer To Peer Network, founded in 2007 and headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, specializes in digital identity and networking technology. Its flagship product, MobiCard™, allows users to instantly share contact information, monitor engagement analytics, and manage connections in real time. Through its new division, Intelligence Labs, PTOP is expanding into AI-powered B2B automation tools that enhance communication, data insights, and operational efficiency.
Boardrooms and Bottles
Joshua’s story is unusual in modern entrepreneurship: he managed to lead a publicly traded company while being a stay-at-home father to two young boys. “I just tried not to drop either the baby or the phone,” he laughs. But the experience became one of the greatest blessings of his life.
Stories That Stand Out
One moment he’ll never forget happened during an investor call when his newborn demanded a bottle — immediately. Hanging up wasn’t an option, so Joshua improvised: he propped the bottle in a towel, angled it perfectly into the baby swing, and kept the call going hands-free. “That’s when it hit me — innovation doesn’t just happen in business; it happens in the living room too.” Then came Teachers’ Day: Joshua and his wife were completely outnumbered. The toddler was finger-painting on the wall, the baby needed a diaper change, and his phone was buzzing with emails about patent updates. He recalls thinking, “They didn’t teach this in business school!” Yet it’s those chaotic, beautiful moments that he cherishes most.
How Fatherhood Influenced His Leadership
Fatherhood sharpened Joshua’s understanding of time — the most valuable resource in business and life. Watching his sons grow reminded him to build tools that help people connect faster, smarter, and more meaningfully. That philosophy continues to guide MobiCard™ and PTOP’s future innovations.
Both Roles Shaped Each Other
Leading PTOP while raising two young boys taught Joshua to pivot quickly, communicate clearly, and stay steady under pressure, whether navigating market swings, refining patented technology, or surviving nap time. The result is a leader shaped equally by boardrooms and bottles, grateful for both roles and better because of them.
