Kenny Stoddart

For nearly three decades, Kenny Stoddart lived the life many professionals aspire to achieve. He climbed the corporate ladder during the dot-com boom, built wealth early, led global cybersecurity teams in high-pressure environments, and earned the kind of accolades associated with elite performance. On the surface, he looked unstoppable. Behind the scenes, however, the relentless pace of corporate leadership was quietly dismantling his health, identity, and peace of mind.

Today, Kenny has transformed that painful chapter into a mission-driven movement through IronMind Advisors, an elite executive coaching and advisory firm based in Jacksonville Beach that helps high-achieving leaders, founders, and athletes strengthen resilience, identity, and sustainable performance under pressure. In less than a year, he scaled the company from zero to seven figures while becoming a nationally recognized speaker, executive coach, and Top 15 Game Changer in 2026. But the true foundation of IronMind Advisors was built long before the company officially launched.

After graduating from The Citadel with a BSBA in business administration and leadership, followed by an MBA, Kenny entered the cybersecurity industry during one of the most explosive periods in tech history. By age 24, he had already become a millionaire. For 27 years, he chased promotions, quotas, Presidents Club recognition, and the external markers of success that corporate culture celebrates. Yet the higher he climbed, the more disconnected he became from himself.

The stress accumulated quietly over decades. Like many executives, he learned to conceal the warning signs. He wore what he calls the “Superman cape,” appearing composed and successful while privately battling depression, alcoholism, burnout, and severe health decline. Eventually, the collapse came swiftly. He lost nearly everything and reached a point where he believed the pressure might kill him.

Instead, it became the turning point that saved his life.

Roughly a year and a half ago, Kenny entered rehab and committed himself fully to recovery. During that process, he realized something deeper than burnout had occurred: he had lost his identity. He no longer recognized the person he had become after years of defining himself exclusively through professional achievement.

That revelation evolved to become the cornerstone of IronMind Advisors: the groundbreaking Identity Loss vs. Identity Gain™ framework. While society widely understands identity theft in a financial sense, Kenny believes millions of professionals are silently suffering from identity loss; losing sight of who they are beneath their titles, responsibilities, and performance expectations. His recovery was also shaped by another defining part of his life: endurance sports. As a 10-time Ironman triathlete and cancer survivor, Kenny began applying the same discipline, structure, and mental toughness used in endurance racing to rebuilding his own life. That philosophy evolved into the IronMind Blueprint, a personalized coaching methodology rooted in resilience, accountability, purpose, and sustainable high performance.

Unlike traditional executive coaching models, IronMind Advisors takes a highly individualized approach. Kenny works closely with executives, founders, student-athletes, and high-performing professionals who may appear successful outwardly while privately struggling under extraordinary pressure. His clients are often navigating career transitions, burnout, identity erosion, or recovery journeys that require more than surface-level leadership advice.

Today, his mission extends beyond business growth. He is determined to change the national conversation around executive burnout and mental health, particularly among leaders who feel unable to ask for help. That mission continues to gain momentum as IronMind Advisors approaches a major milestone: The IronMind One-Year Anniversary Party, an exclusive evening featuring special guest Cody Johnson alongside IronMind Advisors at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena on Friday, July 24th.

Q&A with Kenny Stoddart

What inspired you to launch IronMind Advisors?

Corporate burnout almost killed me. After 25-plus years of carrying stress, pressure, quotas, and leadership responsibilities, I hit a point where I couldn’t keep pretending I was okay. I looked successful on the outside, but internally I was struggling. Eventually, I realized I needed help. Going through rehab and recovery changed my life, and it also showed me how many other people were suffering silently. I started IronMind Advisors because there’s a real crisis happening with executive burnout in America, and it’s costing people their health, relationships, and sometimes even their lives.

What was the biggest turning point in your personal recovery journey?

The biggest shift happened when I stopped seeing asking for help as weakness. For years, I thought leaders had to carry everything alone. Once I finally admitted I couldn’t fix everything by myself, my life began to change. I also realized I had completely lost my identity. I was “Ken the executive,” but I didn’t even know who Kenny was anymore. Recovery helped me reconnect with the person I actually wanted to become.

How did the IronMind Blueprint develop?

The blueprint came from applying the same mindset I used during Ironman races to my recovery journey. A friend told me, “Whatever you do during those races, apply that to rebuilding your life.” That stuck with me. The IronMind Blueprint is built around discipline, resilience, consistency, accountability, and community. It’s about understanding that transformation requires work, but also realizing that nobody has to go through difficult seasons alone.

Tell us about the Identity Gain™ framework.

Everybody understands identity theft financially, but almost nobody talks about identity loss. So many high achievers slowly lose themselves while chasing performance, titles, and external validation. One day they wake up and realize they don’t know who they are anymore outside of their profession. That happened to me personally. The framework helps people recognize that loss, rebuild their internal foundation, and ultimately reclaim their identity in a healthier, more authentic way.
