Certified in CGSB RT Level 2, XRF Level 1, and API 1169, Mckinley’s journey into NDT was inspired by his father, a veteran of the industry with over 30 years of experience. This familial influence gave Mckinley the confidence and grounding he needed when he started Maverick NDT in 2017. His father’s lessons on client-centric service and the importance of always prioritizing the client's needs have been deeply ingrained in Maverick’s operational ethos.

Mckinley spent the first decade of his career working for various companies, where his innovative ideas often went unheard. This experience fueled his desire to create a company where he could execute his vision without constraints. This was the spark that ignited the creation of Maverick NDT.

Founded in 2017, Maverick NDT has established itself as a family-oriented business with locations in Alberta and Saskatchewan, emphasizing customer satisfaction, client retention, quality, and safety. Offering a comprehensive range of services, including visual inspection, radiography testing, magnetic particle testing, liquid penetrant testing, hardness testing, and XRF analysis, Maverick utilizes over 50 years of combined industry experience to deliver efficient and effective project execution. The company’s use of state-of-the-art equipment and adherence to industry standards underscore its commitment to providing reliable and accurate NDT testing services.
