Nicole Howard-Rice is a leadership strategist, TEDx speaker, and founder of Claim Your Place Consulting, LLC—a firm dedicated to developing mid-level professionals into confident, executive-ready leaders. With over a decade of experience, Nicole specializes in designing leadership ecosystems that align purpose with performance, emphasizing equity, empathy, and strategic growth. Her unique approach blends advisory expertise with actionable tools—offering clients structured activities that support real-time growth. She is known for supporting professionals in leadership roles—guiding them through transitions, enhancing their executive presence, and aligning their capacity with organizational goals.

 

Claim Your Place provides executive coaching and leadership development programs tailored for mission-driven organizations and individuals. Founded in 2024, the company has grown exclusively through client referrals. With all coaching sessions being confidential, each engagement is rooted in clarity, intention, and transformative leadership.

 

Prior to entrepreneurship, Nicole served as senior academic case manager for Florida’s Palm Beach County School District, where her reform of Title I adult-education campuses produced a five-point achievement gain and broadened pathways for non-traditional learners. She then consulted for the Florida Department of Education, helping craft statewide curriculum standards, and continues to advise education leaders in Florida and New Hampshire.

 

Nicole authored The Workshop Model for Adults, now implemented in 80+ school districts and workforce programs, providing marginalized learners a proven route to success. Her forthcoming TEDx talk urges leaders to blend innovation and empathy, offering a timely blueprint for human-centered leadership in an AI-accelerated era. Through Claim Your Place, she equips executives and educators alike to build equitable, high-performance cultures.
