Born in the United States to immigrant parents from Afghanistan, Sami grew up with a deep respect for the freedoms and protections his family found here. His father, a veteran of the Soviet-Afghan war, instilled in him an understanding of sacrifice, vigilance, and community responsibility. These values have shaped Sami’s career since 2006 and ultimately inspired him to establish Citiguard in 2013 with a single mission: to secure communities while delivering uncompromising quality of service.

 

What began as a small operation has grown into one of the most trusted security providers in California. Voted the #1 Security Guard Company in the state, Citiguard has expanded from 424 employees in 2018 to more than 1,400 today—a 114% growth. And the company is not slowing down; plans are underway to extend services into Texas, Arizona, and Nevada by early 2026.
